Mad Catz and Microsoft Teams Up for the Ultimate XBOX 360 Headphone

Any alliance between leading electronics industry names can mean only one thing – gadget geeks and freaks will have something new and exciting to look forward to. This time, that something will be coming from the official partnership of Mad Catz Interactive, a leading third-party interactive entertainment accessory provider, and Microsoft Corporation (a company which needs no introduction). Both came to an agreement to produce a series of officially licensed, co-branded audio headphones under Mad Catz’s Tritton and Microsoft’s XBOX 360 brand.

With the deal done, Mad Catz got the exclusive right to manufacture, market, and sell co-branded wired and wireless stereo headphones as well as Dolby 5.1 headphones for the XBOX 360 system. The two companies will be working hand in hand to develop headphones proudly bearing the Triton and XBOX mark on both the packaging and the device itself – a first for XBOX 360.
