Discovery Turbo Critter Catcher for That Little Entomologist

Discovery Turbo Critter CatcherThere is nothing like a good, literally bug infested film like Starship Troopers to bring out the Entomologist in you – or your child. Unless you’re part of the Terran Federation’s Mobile Infantry, grabbing a Morita Rifle when you are trying to “subdue” a bug is not very scientist like. Using a bug net on the other hand will make you look like a dork and a bug spray will make you more of a pest control guy rather than an entomologist.

To promote entomology without unnecessarily harming a totally innocent Earth creepy-crawly, the Discovery Turbo Critter Catcher is recommended. This fun gadget has all the cool factor of standard issue Cap trooper equipment minus the bullets. This pistol like device is actually a turbo charged vacuum designed to carefully capture ants, beetles, crickets and other small insects for close examination. It’s basically a gadget to catch little bugs without harming them.

Since creature catcher is designed for harmless catch and release explorations, using one during an Arachnid cleansing exercise in planet Klendathu is not a good idea. To better facilitate observation and foster interest in the minute details of the insect world, the Turbo Critter Catcher has built-in bug watching magnifier. It even has a turbo boost button for additional vacuum power in dealing with larger insects. The Turbo Catcher works right of the box – thanks to the included 6 AAA batteries.

Spider Vac

spider vacLove them or hate them spiders just seem to be everywhere where we don’t like them. In our bed, table, or even in our tub; we just have to get rid of them in one way or another. Unfortunately, we don’t have much choice in getting rid of them. We usually kill them with a slipper, a rolled up newspaper or a hardbound Harry Potter book that would all leave a spider crime scene which would pinch our conscience. But still, how bad they might look, some spiders are actually beneficial insects gobbling up other unwanted organisms. The question still remains, how can you get rid of an insect which you are afraid of but not kill it? Answer – the Spider Vac.

The Spider Vac can capture those eight legged creatures using a vacuum mechanism that easily lifts them of the ground and into the tube which you could plug to trap the spider inside then release at a better location. The fully extendable 17.5in capturing tube will ensure safe distance between you and that nasty critter. The lightweight and ergonomic design means easy maneuverability of the device to avoid accidental release of the spider like in your foot or someone’s head that could cause a greater commotion not to mention forever hatred. Upon thinking on it, this device could also be used on basically any other insect that you want to get rid of like roaches or flies. For a few bucks, this device is a must have for arachnophobics and the like.

Eddy the Powerful Vacuum

eddy-the-excavator

A conceptual device named Eddy, made by European company 3KNT. Try to guess what is eddy. Is he a vacuum cleaner? Yeah! But you are only half right to that. He is more than what you have expected. He is also a suction excavator. See? He is not a usual vacuum cleaner.

Maybe others can say it is still the common vacuum cleaner and only the title has changed. No, it is worth his suction excavator title.

Eddy is constructed to siphon off all the grime or rubbish that is in a hole. This would absolutely come in handy as the new type of shop-vacuum has a range of 1000mm (semicircular radius).

Is he too little to handle those heavy mess? That’s right, but Eddy can be integrated with bigger tanks that can contain a whole lot of mess spreading. Added is, you can manage Eddy through a remote control.

Eddy is not yet in the market so everybody is waiting for this powerful vacuum cleaner. you read more about it in 3KNT website. Maybe this coming 2009 is the awaited release of this great vacuum. Are you excited? Maybe you are as I am.
