Gammatech D12C is How You Spell TOUGH

Meet the Indiana Jones of notebooks – the new Gammatech D12C. The D12C is made for the extreme and adventurous power user demanding only the toughest in mobile computing solution. It’s encased in a very durable but lightweight magnesium alloy that’s proven strong enough to help the D12C meet rigorous military grade certifications. It has been successfully tested to STD-810G standards for drop, shock, and spill protection and survived a list of almost impossible feats like 26 repeated 4 feet high drops to 2-inch plywood over concrete with unit off, exposure to random levels of shocks and 100 ml water spill with the unit on. All of the unit’s input and output ports are also snugly covered making it resistant to dirt, grime and dust. Even the batteries wouldn’t easily die out on you, it has a double protection smart battery circuitry that prevents damage caused by current or voltage surges and overheating. There’s also the Smart Battery Calibration that prevents the loss of battery capacity after repeated charge-discharge cycles. The Gammatech D12C is basically certified to enter the Temple of Doom and leave unscathed. Everything about the D12C is not brawn; it has the brains to back it up in the form of the new Intel i5 processor that delivers only the best in speed and data management. This new gadget is so rugged and powerful that it puts tan muscle-bound green berets reeking with after shave cream to shame.

Other features include a 12.1-inch WXGA Touch Screen TFT LED backlit display that can be swiveled and transformed into a Tablet PC configuration, hard handle, optional card reader, fingerprint scanner and Kensington lock.

Casio G’zOne Brigade is Tougher Than You

You might have a rugged notebook and camera that you bring to your adventures anywhere. For some unknown reason, you could be an adrenaline junkie who sees face-plant a normal thing, eats dust or snow as a hobby, and crash into the waters for leisure. If you’re tougher than the boys at 300, then text or call with a phone which is tougher than you.

Of course, having a phone tougher than you is a must since it is something that you want to be handy during your adrenaline rush. You would like to call someone on your phone when you’re drenched from a heavy down pour instead of looking for a payphone. A phone to take pictures when you’re done on your motocross match and a phone that can withstand shocks better than your skateboard. All this on the Casio G’zOne Brigade.

The G’zOne (jeez wun) Brigade is a tough QWERTY clamshell phone that features dual display and dual character input. You can text immediately on the front with a regular keypad and displayed on a monochromatic 1.2″ OLED screen. When opened, a full QWERTY keyboard along with a 2.9″ full color screen is ready to take the beating. The camera has a 3.2 megapixel resolution with autofocus and flash which also records video for up to an hour.

The Brigade showed that it can still operate even after the dropping, dust resistance, solar radiation, salt fog, vibration, immersion, water resistance, low pressure, humidity, high temperature, and low temperature tests.

Toughen up your Brigade even further with this shield.
