Toshiba’s Blue-ray Disc players just got smarter – the technological giant released their new range of Smart Blue-ray players with Aero Design, direct audio and video streaming capabilities, and a number of connectivity options. Their new Smart Blue-ray Disc Players are especially designed to satisfy all your entertainment cravings in one neat package. One of the new features shared among these upcoming entertainment gadgets is the Aero Design that perfectly complements Toshiba’s Aero Family LED televisions. All their new Blue-ray players will come with the silver Aero wing and low profile form factor with the 3D models will be coming in a wider chassis to better suit other home theater devices and accessories. Other new features include A/V Streaming and MediaShare. These new players will be bundled with Netflix, VUDU, and YouTube audio and video streaming applications and a simple DLNA interface for easily sharing media contents across the home network. Finally, there’s the USB Video for enjoying different multimedia files instantly straight from any USB thumb drives.
For High Definition 2D entertainment, there are the new BDX2300 and BDX3300 Smart Blu-ray Disc players. Both have 1080p full HD playback, and A/V online streaming capabilities, Dolby True HD and DTS HD 7.1 channel surround sound, and HDMI and USB Video ports. The Wi-Fi ready BDX2300 will be available in April while the Wi-Fi enabled BDX3300 will be available in May.
For a truly immersive 3D entertainment, Toshiba offers the BDX4300 and BDX5300 3D Smart Blu-ray Disc players. They have all the bells and whistles of the 2D models but with the addition of 1080p 3D HD playback, and an integrated Wi-Fi connectivity for the BDX5300. Both players will hit the shelves by April.

If the tablet market is one giant king of the hill playground with the crown held by none other than the iPad 2 – that is the cold hard truth. The Excite AT200 is the successor of Toshiba Thrive and it is currently the world’s thinnest and lightest tablet at only 7.7 mm at its thickest point and about 558 grams in weight. This ultrathin tablet runs on dual core 1.2 GHz Texas Instruments OMAP 4430 processor and comes with 1 GB of RAM. Its 1280 x 800 pixels LED backlit screen would be graced by Android’s sweet UI and mobile operating system – the new Android Ice Cream Sandwich. Although no official price and specific date for the launching yet, the Toshiba Excite is expected to come in at least 16 or 32 GB versions.
Toshiba Satellite L755-S5349 is an affordable and cost effective laptop that packs a decent hardware under its hood. Its Fusion Finish in Matrix Silver exterior is as attractive as its solid performance and $579.99 tag price. The L755-S5349 features an Intel Core i3-2330M processor, 4GB DDR3 1333MHz memory, a 640GB HDD (5400rpm) hard drive, and a Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (64-bit). The two cores on the processor are great for running multiple applications at once. They’re also energy efficient, using only minimal battery power so that you can make the most out of your rechargeable 6-cell battery pack. The laptop also comes with Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n wireless networking, DVD-SuperMulti drive, and a webcam and a microphone that are integrated into the LCD frame. Toshiba Satellite is plenty generous with ports. It has an Ethernet, HDMI, audio jacks, memory card reader, and a USB 2.0 with Sleep and Charge technology. The last port can be used to recharge or power your portable devices even when the laptop is powered down.
Toshiba Satellite L755-S5349 uses a Mobile Intel HD Graphics engine with 64MB to 1696MB dynamically allocated shared graphics memory. Its 15.6-inch wide HD TruBrite LED Backlit screen is capable of displaying images in 1366 x 768 HD resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio, also it supports 720p content. For a 15 in. laptop, this machine is fairly light at 5.3 lbs. Other great features include a full sized keyboard with 10-key numeric keypad, multi-touch touch pad, and facial recognition.
