Make iPhone’s Sound Better and More with SoundClip

b8e5_soundclip_iphone_audio_boosterWe love the iPhone and all of its features. The cool iPod media player feature, its touchscreen and the innovative OS that sometimes lack features that we are used to from our past phones. Even with these lack of features, we still use our iPhone and adapt to it. But one thing that bums everybody is its weak speakers. You have to admit that a good music player needs a good sound system to complement it but the speakers on the iPhone just isn’t up the game. It is really weak that a Google search about “weak iPhone speakers” would lead to recommendations of poking the speakers with needles which is a crude way of “fixing” the problem but magically works. Another problem is about the placement of the speakers because it is blocked when playing games on landscape and sometimes even on portrait orientation.

There is a rather low-tech solution to Apple’s ever popular phone. The SoundClip is basically a sound amplifying device that you plug in the speaker port of the iPhone. Though the sound amplifier idea might give you images of shortened battery life, that is not actually the case since it uses no batteries. It just “collects” the sound that the phone produces and acts like a horn and directing the sound towards you. Just plugging in the SoundClip can give you 10db gain on sound and redirect the sound wave’s direction towards you so you don’t block the speakers when playing games.

The SoundClip is an easy hassle-free solution to your iPhone sound issues. Get your SoundClip here.

Wireless Music with NAO Symphony

productnaoWe love wireless technology. Wireless internet, wireless file transfer, wireless bills payment, and even when watching movies we like it streamed wireless to our TV screens. This is why speakers have been upgraded to feed our craving for freedom from the shackles of entangled cables and connecting wires.

cignias-11262009An example is the NAO Symphony from cignias. It is called an advanced wireless music station because of its capabilities that would even make other iPod speakers shut-up in vain. First is its Bluetooth wireless music streaming and second is the WiFi music support that controls iPods, streams music, and allow different connection modes. You can control a docked iPod wireless via WiFi if you have a WiFi enabled Blackberry or Apple device. You can change playlists, skip songs, shuffle the tracks and so on without even standing up. The two different connection modes that the NAO Symphony can handle is the direct connection mode where both the smartphone and the speakers connect, and the home network mode where both the smartphone and symphony connect to an access point for better connection and allows multi smartphone connectivity. Audio performance is not left out as this is equipped with 4 speakers that can fill the room with 50 watts of power.

The aesthetics department also didn’t fail to do an outstanding job with the elegant black piano finish accentuated by the blue backlit touch controls with the usability of the LED indicator light that shows if the NAO Symphony connects via bluetooth, WiFi, docked iPod or via the aux in.

The NAO Symphony isn’t yet available but you can look at other Wireless Music Systems available at Amazon.com.

Inside the miniature shape of Zeppelin Mini sound system is a grand opera of components made to deliver music as it was recorded and intended to be heard. Each drive units accurately reproduce everything from the smallest frequency to the loudest bass. The Digital Signal Processing unit then brings together everything and balances them to produce a lossless sound quality; no matter how loud the music is played. Zeppelin went as far as using USB digital connection to prevent data losses from analogue to digital signal conversion. This mini speaker manages to produce astoundingly loud bass for its size, the secret lies within the Flowport technology which allows free air movement inside the speaker.
