They say that life is full of choices and Shuttle, and industry-leading designer and manufacturer of high-performance small form factor PC solutions and inventor of the XPC, couldn’t agree more. Shuttle is now offering its new XS35 slim PC in three “ready to ship†configurations namely Everyday, Media, and High-Definition, at leading retailers in the U.S. and Canada. All of the three nettops come with a built-in 802.11n WiFi, a dual-core 1.66GHz Atom D510 CPU, 5 USB ports, and a 4-in-1 media card reader, while the pricier two XS35 models also include DVD-RW drives.
Designed for your day to day use, the Shuttle XS35 “everyday” edition is a meager 1.5 inches thin, but nevertheless features a dual-core Intel(R) Atom(TM) D510 processor, on-board Intel(R) GMA 3150 graphics, 1GB of memory expandable up to 2GB and a 160GB hard drive. The Shuttle XS35 “media” edition features more performance, more space, and more capabilities than the previous configuration. It has the same processor and GPU as the everyday edition but its memory is upgraded to 2GB, and the hard drive is extended to a 320GB. It also features a built-in slim DVD burner for entertainment.
Finally there’s the Shuttle XS35 GT “high-definition” edition. This top of the line nettop is outfitted with the latest next-generation NVIDIA ION graphics with true 1080p HDMI output. Performance is tricked-out with 2GB of memory, a 500GB hard drive, and a built-in slim DVD burner that may be upgraded to support Blu-ray.
