MSI X-Slim X400 14-Inch Laptop Coming Soon

msi-x-slim-x400

Taiwan-based MSI is apparently planning to launch a new 14-inch variant of its freshly released line of ultra-portable, slim computer systems, dubbed X-Slim series. The company’s latest X-Slim laptop will be marketed as the X400 and will likely be launched in time for this year’s Computex computer show, held in Taipei between June 2 and June 6.

Although there are no official details and complete specifications being presented at this time, the system will likely be built on the same Intel CULV platform that is featured inside MSI’s other X-Slim notebooks, including the X320, X340, and X600. Also, like the X600, the X400 is reportedly to be offered in black, white, and silver colors.

Again, hard specifications on the X400 are unavailable except for the 1.4GHz Core 2 Duo as the X340, 2GB of RAM and a roughly 320GB hard drive, but none of that information has been confirmed by MSI. So, unfortunately, we still have to wait for the official specifications of the new model, which will likely become available or will be revealed in time for Computex 2009 in Taipei, Taiwan.

No words on pricing and availability also for this 14-inch laptop. We just expect it to be inexpensive because MSI’s systems always come in affordable prices consequently making them accessible to a wider range of users.

In the meantime, you might want to find yourself an MSI X-Slim netbook here at bargain prices.
