Samsung Wave S8500 – The First Bada OS Phone

Do you know anything about Bada OS? Have you heard about it? If not, then here’s a bit of info: Bada OS is a mobile operating system that is being developed by Samsung Electronics for its smartphones. This was first introduced last November 10, 2009 and according to Korea Herald, this OS is set to challenge Google’s Android phone platform.

One of Mobile World Congress’ first smartphones which is expected to debut early this year is the new Wave 8500 from Samsung. As for the internal, it boasts a 5 megapixel camera, aGPS, 2GB or 8GB of internal memory, 1GHz processor, multi-codec support for DivX, XviD, MP3 and WMV, micro-SD expansion slot, and support for virtual 5.1 surround sound and 720p recording/decoding.
