The biggest thing that this device could showcase is the ability to have a pico projector connected on its back for on the spot presentations that you can make with projection distance of up to 8 feet. Imagine editing your presentation on your phone and presenting it a few minutes later right on the same device. That could make a difference from closing a deal with potential partners and saying bye-bye to that Christmas wish list. The eXpo will sell on December 7 for $199.99 after mail-in rebates on a 2-year contract and the projector will sell for $179.99 separately.

LG GD510 is the Smallest and Greenest Touch Screen Phone

If there’s one thing common on gadgets in the market today, it is energy efficiency. With global warming right on our tail and self sufficiency issue gaining momentum, who will not worry? Well, steps have been taken and and LG has been one of the companies that is leading the way.

LG, one of the leading brands in LCD TVs, audio and video products, and other home devices is innovating its products to be green starting from using the raw materials for manufacturing, the process itself, the plant and even up to the disposal stage. Like the Pop which is the LG GD510′s name which looks like targeting a more youthful audience like it did naming its entry level touch screen phone Cookie. As for the raw materials, the LG GD510 is PVC, CFR, and BFR free and the packaging used is made from recycled paper and soy ink.

LG Widebook Notebook Series Offers a Cinematic Experience

LG Electronics unveils its new WIDEBOOK notebook range, which includes five models, the R580 and R560 boasting a 15.6” display, the R480 and R460 with a 14” screen and the diminutive R380 that packs a 13.3” panel. The 16:9 widescreen display is optimized for HD content and ships in 1600 x 900 and 1368 x 768 HD pixel resolutions, depending on the model. The LED backlight also means that the screens draw 15-20% less power than existing notebooks, which also helps boost battery life. Beyond the widescreen and high-performance multimedia features, the WIDEBOOKâ„¢ offers a stylish exterior to suit the most style-conscious consumers. The cutting-edge style includes a UV coating and trendy low-profile chrome hinge.

The premium R580 and R480 models also include a row of backlit blue buttons to provide quick access to features and the WIDEBOOKâ„¢ R380 includes a Smart On feature that enables the machine to be booted in only five seconds. If this baby looks familiar to you, well, that is because it’s the same as the LG Etna which was showcased at IFA in Germany earlier this month. Except for name change, there’s really nothing new with this smartphone, as far as specs are concerned.

The LG-GW620 signifies the company’s intent to continue to offer Windows Mobile devices with its “two-tier smartphone technology. The LG-GW620 has both a 3-inch full touchscreen and slide-out QWERTY keypad to meet the growing needs of consumers who rely on their mobile phones for more than just making calls.
