The 23 and 27 inch Series 7 and 9 monitor together with the SP-A8000 1080p 3D Home Theater projector is capable of displaying 2D and native 3D content as well as converting 2D to 3D using real-time 2D to 3D conversion technology.
The Samsung new 3D screens and HDTV/monitors are not only optimized for video gaming, they are also perfect for showing 3D movies, 3D TV and user-generated 3D contents like 3D photos and 3D videos thanks to Samsung’s exclusive 3D panel with hyper realistic 3D playback. The 950 Series Monitor and the 7 and 9 Series HDTV/Monitors can automatically analyze and deliver 2D content from PCs, Blu-ray players, gaming consoles and set-top units instantaneously to dramatic 3D. The 7 and 9 Series feature an integrated glass sync emitter, Ultra Clear Panel technology, Eco Light and Eco Motion Sensor, LED backlit panels, HDTV tuner for live television (in select models) and a bundled pair of 3D active-shutter.
To further showcase its 3D prowess, Samsung also developed the SP-A8000 3D projector for those who want to enjoy and share 3D with a wider audience. The SP-A8000 can project large brilliant 3D images thanks to its single-bulb and single-lens design and built-in 3D engine. The 3D projector should be out in the market by now and the 7 and 9 series are expected to be available for the public sometime in March this year.
