iPod Nano with Multi-Touch – Feel your Music

Apple’s latest creation is the iPod nano with Multi-Touch. It is designed to be easy, spontaneous, and upbeat just your music. It’s tad smaller too so music can play an even bigger part of just about everything. Even better, the iPod nano has been completely redesigned with Multi-Touch. Yes, that same technology present in iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Now it’s about half the size (46 percent smaller and 42 percent lighter) and even easier to play with everything you want to hear is just a tap or swipe away.

The new Multi-Touch nano comes in sleek anodized aluminum casing and in seven bright colors. It has a tiny yet dazzling 1.5-inch color display with 240-by-240 pixel resolution that easily displays art, photos, and the color-coordinated wallpaper. Another feature is the integrated 30-pin connector that easily connects the iPod nano into car stereo systems, home speakers, and other iPod specific gadgets.
To navigate the new iPod nano, just swipe left to see additional icon and swipe right, or touch and hold anywhere to view the customizable Home screen. To select items, simply tap the screen and swipe up or down to browse lists. Additional functions use two fingers to rotate the screen and double-tap to zoom photos. Just like other iPods, song controls are as easy as tap, swipe and swipe.

iPod Nano 3rd Generation TV

The title might mean to you that the 3rd generation iPod Nano which is 2 generations behind the latest is getting an unexpected TV capability upgrade but sorry to burst your bubble, it is not. While that could be anÂ unexpected welcome upgrade to the most popular music device’s lovers, the TV support is still a fantasy. But watching on your iPod’s puny 2.8″ screen is a reality and you can do something about it. NANOTVGIF250

Presenting the Nano 3G TV. This device enables your fat Nano to have a more manageable screen size by literally magnifying it. You simply have to choose the movie you want to watch and put it on the back of the device and watch in a larger screen. There are also built-in speakers so you don’t need to have those very much iconic ear buds plugged in. The construction of the Nano TV can remind you of Mario and his adventures since the looks is so retro with its small TV look and VCR combo. Well, I bet you wouldn’t mind the retro look if you still keep the 3rd generation iPod which some crazy-latest-gadget freaks call it also retro. You can use the Nano TV as a small bed side entertainment device or put it somewhere that needs some entertainment but with limited space.

This cool retro looking device sure works great with 3rd Gen Nanos but that’s about it. Later generation iPod Nanos wouldn’t work with this so that could be a drawback.

iPod Nano 5th Generation Review

The good:

The new iPod Nano now comes with a video camera so you can shoot video wherever you are, view it on your iPod Nano, and use your computers to easily transfer your videos to YouTube. It also features a built-in FM radio with Live Pause and iTunes Tagging, Genius Mixes that automatically creates up to 12 endless mixes of songs from your iTunes library that go great together, built-in pedometer – making it your new workout companion, as well as mic and speaker. It also comes in an ultra-thin and sleek design with a larger 2.2-inch color display and polished aluminum and glass enclosure, plus you can choose from the nine different colors available: silver, black, purple, blue, green, yellow, orange, red, and pink.

The bad:

The larger screen comes with a caveat – the click wheel is smaller than earlier iPod Nanos. The camera can’t also shoot photos or HD-quality videos and it’s a bit puzzling that Apple placed the video camera at the base of the unit. Yes, the new Nano fits its camera at the bottom, opposite the click wheel used to start and stop the recording. Meaning, it’s hard to position the Nano for recording without having your fingers in the shot. Storage capacities also remain stuck at 8GB and 16GB.

Bottom line:

Though the new iPod Nano is far less than that of current HD pocket cams, no other MP3 player on the planet packs more features into a smaller package than the 5th Generation iPod Nano.
