i.Sound Crystal Ice Speakers

After buying a music player, you might not be just contented with listening your tunes over your headphones. You suddenly feel like buying a set of speakers. If you own an iPod, you could be tempted to buy a “designed for iPod” speaker. However, you should also try to look for compatibilities for other audio devices such as if a 3.5mm jack is present. A nice design would be a plus while quality audio is a must.

Looking at the i.Sound Crystal Speakers, its tiny package could make people think that anything that comes out of this would sound like squeaks. I mean, who would think that these babies measuring 5.75 x 8 x 2.75 ” could provide such clear and crisp sound even at maximum audio. But don’t expect to hear roaring sounds that can push music across your house, this can however manage a room. Each speaker is connected by a 32″ wire and another 32″ wire connects to your music player via the 3.5mm jack. Cool blue LED lights illuminate each cube which comes in handy if you want to have mood lights in your room. Just plug it in and the lights would automatically turn on.

On the downside, even this miniature speakers are labeled as portable speakers, they don’t come with batteries so you are fairly limited to a wall outlet with the provided AC adapter. Also, there is no switch to turn off the lights in case you feel that they are unnecessary. A travel bag is included that can fit the speakers and the AC adapter.

Combine Fire and Ice With Mathmos Thaw Light

mathmosCandles have become complicated over the years. Way way back, it was just candle wax and a wick. Now, it already comes in various shapes, colors, sizes, smell, or even the type of lighting since there are already LED candles. If that isn’t complicated enough, then add into the mix Mathmos Thaw Light that used ice to add an effect!

The Mathmos That Light is basically a candle with ice surrounding it. It might sound really weird that you put ice around the candle but the idea is cool actually. Having an ice covering the candle works the same a frosted glass is covering a candle but using ice gives it a more natural look and a more mesmerizing experience. All you have to do is fill the silicon mold that comes with it and put it in the freezer. When frozen, put it back in the stainless steel tray and place a small candle and let it work its magical charm through the night. The whole setup generally lasts for a good 3 hours which is more than enough if you want to use this for a romantic dinner.

I can only imagine how good this would be for parties, dinners, events, while listening to music, as a mood light or even simple blackouts that you want to make extra special. The only setback is the preparation time of waiting for the ice to freeze.

If you like to get one, it is always available here.

Brighten up Your Party with Color Changing Lite Cubes

colour-changing-lite-cubes_mainLED drinking glasses, shower heads, faucet or what not. Things in our homes are more and more equipped with more lights to probably perk up our mood (and speaking of which, there are mood lights). Then why not add the collection with a Lite Cube?

Lite Cubes are basically your common ice cubes that gives an extra soothing action to any drink. However, these Lite Cubes also comes with a LED in its core making it light up. You could use just one or many if you want to have a light show in your glass. Each cube contains a special freezing gel inside it making it freeze whenever placed in the ice cube tray. It can be used for as many times as wanted but the light is only limited. This is because it can only keep lighting for up to 12 hours with its built in battery which cannot be replaced. This thing is good for throwing a cool party but will just be a regular ice cube after.

Each pack contains three and every cube can light up in 8 ways namely: Red, Green, Blue, Green/Red, Blue/Green, Purple/Blue, Multi-Colour, and Phasing. For sure, those 8 modes are more than enough for variety to exhibit a light show in your glass. It would definitely be nice serving your guests with even just one cube denoting what that drink is.

Score some cool points in a party when your guests see that drinks are more than just beverage with Color Changing Lite Cubes.
