For home theatre aficionados looking for larger-than-life visual experiences, the latest technology and a flexible setup, checkout the new modular projector system from SIM2 – the C3X Lumis Host that is offered in high-gloss silver black finish.
This latest addition to SIM2’s award-winning Grand Cinema C3X series pairs a reference standard 3-chip DLP-based projector with a discrete outboard projector control electronics module that connects through SIM2’s proprietary, three-line optical-digital High-Definition Optical Signal Transfer system, which is able to connect the two over distances up to 750 feet.
The C3X Lumis Host projector achieves extraordinary picture quality through the partnership of the latest 0.95-inch 1080p DLP chipset from Texas Instruments, the precision optics of SIM2’s ALPHAPATH light engine, and DynamicBlack technology. No other projector can match the superb color depth, excellent contrast ratio (up to 35.000:1) and exceptional brightness (3000 ANSI Lumens) that the C3X Lumis Host is able to deliver.
It uses three distinct specialized components: a user adjustable iris, DynamicBlack technology, and a new dimmable lamp with the world-renowned technical expertise of SIM2’s R&D design team to achieve increased contrast and black level performance. This enhanced black level performance enables the C3X Lumis Host to produce images containing the maximum amount of detail possible in dark scenes without compromising black level or the excellent dynamic range available from DLP technology.
For ease of installation, a choice of three lens options is available, which allows for even greater flexibility in the positioning of the projector. Additionally, there’s a wide choice of control options available: IR, RS232 and IP addressable.
