G700 Camera: The Ultimate in Utility and Toughness

When it comes to digital cameras, the latest these days are all about sophistication and easy sharing. Despite their increasing features, however, not many cameras can work and withstand rigorous conditions. Only a few can reach that level, and one of those few is the G700.

The G700 camera is ideal for use in harsh conditions where toughness matters. In fact, the said camera is resistant to almost all kinds of harsh conditions. It’s got shock resistance (passed 2-meter drop test, even with power on), water resistance (can stay 2 hours underwater up to 5 meters, can be used to shoot in the rain, and can be washed in water), cold resistance (up to -10 degrees Celsius), and chemical resistance (can be disinfected with ethanol or sodium hypochlorite). Other than these, the G700 also boasts of a wide array of advanced features. It generates very clear images, retaining the clarity of even the smallest image. You can even take photos up to 10 meters clearly when you use the flash. In fact, even scenes like fire can be photographed with no distortion. The camera also features a skew correction function, so you can adjust a photograph taken from an angle to make it look like it’s taken from direct in front of it. Plus, mode switching and setting adjustment is also easy.

The G700 is powered by a rechargeable battery, a full charge of which will allow you to take up to 360 photos. You can also power it with the AAA alkaline batteries that already come with it.

Polaroid Concept Camera by Evan Jardee: Polaroid + Digital + Heaps of Style

Despite the seeming invasion of digital cameras in the market right now, Polaroid cameras still hold a lot of appeal among many individuals. It could be the randomness of the photos that they produce, or the element of surprise that makes Polaroid cams fun to use. Admit it, though, there are only a few Polaroid cameras now that really look great, one that you’d be proud of flaunting to people who own the latest digital cameras. Well, here’s one Polaroid camera (concept camera, that is) that you sure would love to flaunt: the Polaroid Concept Camera designed by Evan Jardee.

This concept cam arguably lies between a Polaroid camera and a digital camera (although they say it’s a Polaroid camera) because it has some of the features of a digi-cam. For one, it has a slideshow function that will allow you to see your photos and eliminate those that you do not like, contrary to a pure Polaroid cam that will give you no option—everything gets printed, whether you like it or not. What’s great about this Evan Jardee concept is its bulk of additional features. The camera has a built-in memory of 10GB. It’s also Wi-Fi enabled, so it’s possible to share your photos to your friends in an instant.

Added to these features, this Polaroid Concept Camera is oozing with appeal. It has a classic and sleek folding design, and you can easily rotate it 360 degrees when shooting on a panoramic mode. This design enables it to serve as its own tripod—no need to bring your bulky instrument when shooting. Here’s hoping that this Evan Jardee concept will come to reality one of these days.
