You can now own a Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Roadster for just £499 or $798. The tag price is no typo error but you won’t be riding this luxury roadster anytime soon – ASUS in their continuous partnership with Lamborghini just launched a Murcielago speedster inspired notebook, the ASUS-Lamborghini Eee PC VX6.
The exterior is detailed with smooth lines, seamless curves and a glossy black or white finish adorned with the familiar golden bull Lamborghini crest on the lid. Instead of an engine, the ASUS-Lamborghini Eee PC VX6 ultraportable 12.1-inch notebook is powered by the latest generation Dual Core Intel Atom D525 processor that features two Hyper-Threading technology enabled cores clocked at 1.8 GHz. It has a total of four parallel processing threads that boost performance of multi-threaded applications and dramatically increase the response times of even the most resource hungry tasks. The GPU on the other hand is none other than NVIDIA Ion 2 which delivers smooth and awe-inspiring graphics that’s up to 60% faster than the previous generation NVIDIA Ion.
If you like how the Murcielago’s engine and exhaust roars as it cruise the streets, then you’ll definitely fall for Eee PC VX6’s Bang and Olufsen Icepower and SRS Premium surround sound speakers that promise a rich and immersive audio experience. Forget pit stop, the Lamborghini Eee PC VX6 can run straight for 6 hours on pure battery power thanks to its integrated NVIDIA Optimus technology that automatically balances graphics performance and power consumption depending on the applications being used. Other features include USB 3.0 interface, Bluetooth 3.0 and a dual bootable Express Gate system.

Laptop may do many things but it is no music player – not a descent one at least. When it comes to sounds, audiophiles frown upon laptop speakers; those tiny notebook speakers just don’t pack enough punch or thump to be even considered a beat. This maybe the universal notion until ASUS decides to take a crack at the audio challenge and release their N-series notebooks with SonicMaster. In partnership with audio experts Bang & Olufsen, ASUS developed SonicMaster, a professional audio certification program which promises high-quality sound that bests the audio experience on any other laptop. SonicMaster branding means that laptops must first feature large speaker chambers, powerful amplifiers and extensive software-processing to create an exceptional audio experience.
The N-series will come in two models – the 15.6-inch N53 and 17.3-inch N73. Both are outfitted with a dual-core 2.4GHz Intel Core i5 520M, 1GB GeForce GT325 GPU, 4GB DDR3 and a Blu-ray drive. ASUS also integrated NVIDIA’s Optimus graphics-switching technology, which should aid in extending the battery life when the GPU is not being used. The smaller model can also be installed with a 2.4GHz Core i3 370M and a 1GB GeForce 415M. The N53 features a 1,366×768 pixel resolution screen with a glossy finish, while N73 gets whooping 1,600×900 resolution. Both SonicMaster certified N-series laptops should be available anytime now from major consumer electronics retailers. The N53 is tagged between £649.99 and £999, while the larger N73 will cost around £1,099.

What does it take to be an Automobili Lamborghini? For starters, how about a 6.5L V12 engine drawn by 631 horses emanating nothing but raw pulsating power? Add the adrenalin inducing 0-60mph acceleration in just 3.2 seconds. And finally a touch of Italian inspired design like scissor doors, carbon-fiber and steel body, a hefty $300,000.00+ price tag and of course the gold on black charging bull logo.
