Adding to the space saving design is a compartment on the side of the chassis for managing cables and an ample room under the elevated chassis for hiding the keyboard. The AZ3100 is powered by a 2.0GHz AMD Athlon II 170u processor and comes with a NVIDIA GeForce 9200 graphics, 3GB DDR3 SDRAM and 500GB hard drive. On the other hand, the Acer Aspire offers a dramatic 23-inch HD display housed in a slim chrome structure accented with a black strip. The display features multi-touch technology for that “hands-on” interactive experience. Aside from Intel Atom processors dominating the netbook market, it has also invaded nettops or like the desktop version of the netbook. They are also small, compact, energy efficient and can even be hidden from view. These nettops also has the capability of standard desktop computers with little to compromise.

revo-217x200The AspireRevo was newly introduced to the US as a nettop with an edge – thanks to Nvidia’s new ION Graphics Solution that allows this little device to play even the most demanding 1080p high definition movies with ease. Even gamers can enjoy aside from movie buffs since the ION can also process DirectX10 games. The AspireRevo can be hidden from view because it can be attached to any LCD TV or monitor through the special VESA attachment.

It is like having your own all in one PC with just the LCD monitor in view. You can even use this as a multimedia tank (just have a large hard drive installed). Over at the specifications, this nettop is pretty decent with an Intel Atom 330 processor, 2GB DDR2 memory, 160GB Hard Drive, WiFi, high definition speaker and microphone jack, VGA port, HDMI port, and six USB ports. The six USB ports will definitely eliminate the need for a USB hub unless you have to attach all of your USB launcher, humping dog, chargers etc all at once.
