Motorola MILESTONE 2 – Simply Better

Motorola just hit another Milestone – literally. Creatively dubbed after its award-winning predecessor, MILESTONE 2 enhanced with MOTOBLUR has just been recently released by Motorola. This new Android 2.2 based Motorola smartphone promises faster speed, more messaging, more storage, better web experience with Adobe Flash Player 10.1, more multimedia and more personalization and connectivity options than its older sibling.

The Motorola MILESTONE 2 features a 1Ghz processor, letting users to go through their phone content swiftly even when running multiple applications at the same time or browsing several open web pages. It also lets users respond to e-mails or texts promptly with an enhanced and more spacious QWERTY keyboard which features larger keys and better tactility for easier typing. MILESTONE 2 can also act as a mobile hotspot for 3G and to connect up to five WiFi enabled devices – users can virtually turn themselves into a center of productivity. For storage, it has 8GB internal memory with 8GB microSD card inbox that can be further upgraded to 32GB for a total of 40GB of memory. Nokia E7 – Your New Smartphone Business Partner


Nokia is off to a yet another great start and ahead of the competition as they revealed another high-end smartphone for the business centric user. They rekindled the old school brick type Nokia 9000 Communicator and launched it in a thinner, lighter (merely 176 grams) and trendier design and named it as the Nokia E7.

The Nokia E7 is most likely the first smartphone from the renowned Finnish company that has a polarized 640×360 pixels AMOLED capacitive touch screen, successfully breaking the 4-inch barrier. It’s also appealing that they’ve included the full touch and full QWERTY keyboard in a slider form factor. Nokia E7 comes with an 8 MP camera with dual LED flash and a 16 GB on-board storage that helps the user record and edit 720p HD at 25fps video on the fly. It also offers a 1200mAH battery with extended life that can last 18 days of standby time and up to 9 hours of talk time. Nokia E7’s business features include support for Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, Mail for Exchange, Microsoft Communicator Mobile and Microsoft Share Point Server. This hot new gadget will interestingly run on the Symbian 3 platform. It also has the usual features like Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi, HSDPA at 10.2MBps, HSUPA at 2.0Mbps and GPS.

Unlike its 1996 predecessors which were mostly black and grey, the Nokia E7 will be available in Dark Grey, Silver White, Green, Blue and Orange choice of colors.

ViewSonic Released a Barrage of 3D Gadgets at IFA 2010

If you thought that the items being sold at Crazy Dave’s Twiddydinkies shop were loony, then check out the hot new gadgets showcased by ViewSonic at this year’s IFA (Internationale Funkausstellung) held in Berlin, Germany. The items you’ll find there are even crazier (in a good geeky way of course)!
ViewSonic Europe previewed its upcoming new range of 3D devices and digital media players that include an affordable 3D camcorder, portable 3D TV and 7″ tablet PC. The lightweight handheld 3D digital camcorder is capable of recording at 720p, with an integrated 3D preview display and an SRP of around £199. ViewSonic’s handheld 3D TV will allow anyone to watch 3D content on the go. The ViewPad 7, a 7″ Android 3D tablet with 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity, accesses to thousands of applications. Front and back-facing cameras were also introduced for the first time in Europe. The ViewPad 7 features assisted GPS, a Micro SD card slot, Bluetooth, G-Sensor and USB connectivity, making the device a compact lightweight companion that has a lot to offer. ViewSonic previews the ViewPad 7 alongside new Intel-based 10″ tablet with dual boot Microsoft and Android operating systems.

Other additions were a 3D digital camera and a 3D digital photo frame. The new product added to ViewSonic’s existing ranges of LED display technology, media streamers and eBook readers are a part of their continued strategy for 3D innovation.
