probably have seen some of the most innovative and revolutionary computer m
ice here in geekiegadgets. While almost all of them falls under the category of gaming mouse, from time to time some manufacturers decide to break out of the mold and end up with their mouse getting featured. And that’s a good thing Gigabyte. Geekiegadgets took notice of Gigabyte’s latest revolutionary product – the Xenon Dual Mode Touchpad-Mouse, and who wouldn’t. The Xenon is the world’s first dual mode touchpad-mouse; basically it is a wireless 1000 dpi mouse and a touchpad in one. It features Gigabyte’s free-scrolling technology for one-click web browsing or worksheet navigation, multi-touch gesture support, and Gigabyte’s exclusive Aivia Painter Software for marking documents using the touchpad. This wireless laser mouse comes in stylish design with glossy black color and uses a USB interface for its receiver. Xenon is quite compact at about 95 x 55 x 19 mm and lightweight at mere 68 grams. It uses two AAA batteries and comes with 2-year limited warranty.
The Gigabyte Xenon switches to and fro its two modes using the MODE button. A glowing blue light indicator means that it is on mouse mode, which is also the default mode, and a purple light indicates that it is on touchpad mode. Both modes support gestures including swiping two fingers to the left or right for navigating previous and next page, and bottom-up and top-down for previous and next picture.
