NOX Audio has just lead an audio revolution in the International Consumer Electronics Show with the introduction of its first TruWireless headsets – the Admiral and Admiral Touch. These new earpieces will be released in late 2011. The Admiral and Admiral Touch comes with 7.1-channel surround sound with mobile Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, which allows full wireless audio and communication on game consoles. Aside from these, the Admiral Touch is also outfitted with a 2.4-inch LCD touch screen featuring gesture control. It takes pride in being powered by Google’s Android operating system. Geeks will sure love the Touch because it is the first headset to ever offer such feature.
Because of its Android OS, the Touch can make full use of the available streaming music like Pandora, and VoIP applications. The 7.1-channel digital surround sound of both the Admiral and Admiral Touch offers every user with an immersive experience not only when playing video games, but also when watching movies and listening to music. This feature also offers clear audio for phone calls, which makes these NOX babies the only truly wireless headset available on the market. The rotating ear-cups of these earpieces double as a loudspeaker. Both headsets are also compatible with PlayStation 3, PCs, Xbox 360, and personal music players.
The unit’s standard 3.5 mm jack will make it possible for you to connect the headsets with other devices. What provides its more than five hours of battery life is its removable and rechargeable Li-Ion battery. Since this isn’t available in the market yet, you can check out price and availability of other NOX audio headsets at Amazon.
