Viewsonic ViewPad Hits the Market with Dual Boot Offering

The Viewsonic maybe a new competitor in the already fierce stand-offs between different tablet manufacturers but it’s no pushover, it’s backed by 20 years of display technology experience. The results of its experience are the Viewpad 7 and the Viewpad 10 Addroid-based devices.

The Viewpad 7 runs on the latest Adroid 2.2 mobile operating system and features a powerful processor and 3.5G connectivity. It comes in a lightweight and portable 7-inch body with a 800×480 multi-touch capacitive WVGA LCD screen. The ViewPad 7 is integrated with Android Google Mobile services or GMS that allows it to access more than 100,000 apps and games, Gmail, YouTube and other digital content. Its support for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity additionally gives it access to instant messaging, VOIP and basically the whole world wide web. Other features of the ViewPad 7 include a 3 megapixel rear camera with autofocus and a 0.3 megapixel front camera, 512MB internal memory,up to 32 GB micro SD card slot and a 10-hour battery life.
