Toshiba ZX900 Cell TV

The new Toshiba ZX900 TV was introduced at CES with heads turning and pockets emptying as this will surely be an expensive one. The Cell technology removed previous limitations making the ZX900  an ultra-premium TV that is also an easy to use home entertainment server. The Cell Engine is the core processor of this TV that makes it 143 times more powerful than any TV out in the market. This raw processing power is used to restore the pre-sampling signal curve to assure precise image accuracy and enhance SD and HD TV signals to the best 1080p HD resolution that can be done. There is noise compression to produce a better image even when it comes to compressed internet media. Ambient light sensor with RGB sensor adapts to the environment and know what is the best settings to automatically set the brightness, contrast, gamma, sharpness, color saturation, and now color temperature for any lighting condition. ClearScan makes this TV run at 480MHz frame rate for a clear, crisp picture for mast moving videos.

Another first here is the KIRA2 LED display that is twice as bright at 1,000 cd/m2. The KIRA2 features Super Local Dimming that makes the TV have an unparalleled 9M:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio. As a home entertainment server, it has a built-in 1TB HDD, BD Player, and 802.11n Wi-Fi capability. You can also watch everything in 3D with the TriVector 2D to 3D conversion. To see this baby displayed in a store near you, you still have to wait later this year.
