TomTom GO 2405 and GO 2505 Navigation Device – The Only Directions You Need

When driving around in an unfamiliar place, the last thing that you would want is a friendly local with a very bad sense of direction or a faulty navigator to lead you driving towards the end of a cliff. Fortunately, you can now go and travel even the untrodden path with peace of mind and a hi-tech sense of direction thanks to the two new TomTom navigational devices.
The TomTOm GO 2405 and the GO 2505 sports a new and enhanced navigational software that promises faster and smarter routing as well as a new interface that supports pinch-to-zoom and swiping gestures. Using TomTom’s exclusive high-speed algorithm and feeds from monitored traffic information, the GO 2405 and the GO 2505 can render continuous routing and recommend the best up to date route to drivers. The revamped user interface on the other hand allows inputs for navigation commands and routing to any destination be done with just a few taps, gestures and even with voice recognition.

The two new models will also have a brighter capacitive touch screen and a click and lock magnetic mount for easy docking. The GO 2405 will come in a 4.3-inch display at $299 and the 2500 in a bigger 5-inch display but at a pricier $319 tag. Furthermore, both models are preloaded with TomTom’s popular Lifetime Traffic and Map Updates, Announced Street Names and Advanced Lane Guidance.
