The New Panasonic Lumix FX75

The Panasonic Lumix family has a new member, a super-slim, sleek, and stylish camera that packs huge features – the Lumix FX75. It features 14.1 megapixels, 5x optical zoom, touch-screen, ability to record HD video in AVCHD format, and the highlight feature: 24-mm ultra-wide angle F2.2 lens.

A not very common camera feature, the ultra-wide-angle feature of the FX75 will give you 213% larger viewing space. The HD video recording capability in AVCHD format offers twice the recording time compare to MotionJPEG format. However, in case you want to record using the latter format so that you can see the video on your PC, that is also possible (together with WVGA and VGA format). The touch-screen and Auto Focus features of the camera are also amazing. When you click on a subject on the screen, the Auto Focus feature tracks that subject even when it’s in motion. And when you want to record a video, all you have to do is click on an area (on the screen) that you want to be focused prior to pressing the button.

Other features of the Panasonic Lumix FX75 are iA or Intelligent Auto mode, combined with Motion Deblur mode for a high shutter speed. Another is POWER O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer) for blur reduction during times when you take photographs with your subjects moving or your hands shaking. This camera is not yet in the market, and there’s also no mention about its price yet. Meanwhile, if you want to check out similar cameras from the Panasonic Lumix line-up, you may want to see the Panasonic LUMIX hd video at Amazon.
