Dyson AM02 Tower Fan: Zero Blades, More Power

Cooling fans are always associated with their blades. After all, it’s the blades that cause the actual cooling. Now, Dyson aims to break that traditional association with the new fan that the company is offering: the Dyson AM02 Tower Fan.

This fan is the first of its kind to provide cooling without using fan blades. Instead, the fan employs the so-called Air Multiplier technology in generating cool air. It’s an oval-shaped fan that’s less than three feet tall, featuring an annular jet that draws in the surrounding air (up to nine gallons per second). It amplifies the air 16 times, resulting in breezy, uninterrupted airflow. The device also features a button that you simply push to toggle from one speed to another. The construction of the AM02 Tower Fan makes it safe and easy to maintain. Because there are no spinning blades, you need not worry about your kids playing with the fan while it’s in full operation. Plus, it’s easier to clean because there are no annoying blades to deal with. Simply wipe with a cloth and it’d be as good as new again.

The said fan is offered in silver color. Included in the complete package is the base and base plate, the loop amplifier, the remote control, and the operating manual.
