Dell Latitude E6410 and E6510

The E-series of latitude laptops are designed to be a powerful and rugged notebooks which you can depend on for your business.

The Latitude E6410 and E6510 are identical laptops with the former having a smaller screen at 14.1″ and the latter having 15.6″. Another difference is the choice of processor. If you feel that you need raw power, then the E6510 is the way to go because of the option to have either a dual-core or a quad-core processor. You can choose between a Core i5-540M, Core i7-620M, Core i7-720QM, and Core i7-820QM with the last two being quad-cores. Over at the resolution of the displays, you stick with a 16:10 aspect ratio on the E6410 with 1280×800 and 1440×900. The E6510 gives a more cinematic experience at 16:9 aspect ratio and resolutions of 1366×768, 1600×900, and even a Full HD 1920×1080! Both will have LED for backlight and anti-glare screens. You can configure it to have 8GB of DDR3 memory, 500GB of hard disk drive or 250GB solid state drive, an option between a DVD multi-drive or Blu-Ray drive, and an Nvidia video card.

As for the reliability, Dell has certainly made steps to keep this laptop really sturdy. Tri-Metal casing was used for case durability (cracks no more) along with reinforced screen hinge and system latches. The screen has also been reinforced and kept slim for aesthetic purposes. Lastly, the hard drive is guarded with a free-fall sensor and StrikeZone shock absorbers.
