This is the culmination of rigorous research and development by world-renowned watchmaker Ulysse Nardin and SCI Innovations, a pioneer in uniting leading technologies with elegant design.

A first in the mobile phone industry, the Chairman features a functioning mechanical watch rotor that is also incorporated into its aesthetic design – hand assembled under the strictest guidelines mandated by Ulysse Nardin. Similar to an automatic watch that receives power from the force of a rotor, the Chairman does the same – charging a built-in battery using the kinetic energy of the moving rotor to supply supplemental power to the Chairman. It also looks sexy and the other features are pretty cool as well. Because not only does it have the mechanical innards and styling of a Swiss watch, it also comes with a 2.8-inch multi-touch screen, a 5-megapixel camera, biometric fingerprint unlocking, a WiFi, and a email browser.

Initially, the Chairman line of smart phones will be limited to just 1846 pieces worldwide. And at present, the Chairman is on display at the Baselworld watch and jewellery expo but there’s no word on pricing or availability yet.
