Apple has just presented the blueprint for iPhone OS 3.0 that is said to be the next version of the world’s most advanced mobile platform. Yes, iPhone 3.0 has been officially revealed to the public last March 17. You can’t have it now though. But brace yourself when it arrives this summer as it will introduce more than 100 new features. For now, let’s talk about some of the new changes that the iPhone OS 3.0 will feature.
Do you want to share files, contact, and more with your friends? You can do that now because of the iPhone 3.0’s peer to peer Bluetooth. How about searching your iPhone and all its applications in one single query bar? Well, you can do that as well with the iPhone 3.0’s global search functionality. It’s also about time that we got to cut, copy, and paste between applications on the iPhone OS version 3.0.
Here’s more. Composing emails, text messages, and notes is now easy because you can do it in landscape mode, allowing for a wider keyboard. With the iPhone OS 3.0, you can also purchase content or services using the Store Kit framework. This new framework handles the financial aspects of the transaction, processes payment with the iTunes store, and provides your application with information about the purchase.
It just keeps getting better, right iPhone owners? Then again, we’ll have to wait for the summer to test these new features.
Don’t have an iPhone yet? Shop around for one now.
