Swap Watch

This week, we gave you the lowdown on the recently launched LG Watch Phone. Since we can’t get enough of playing super spy, we’re dishing out another watch phone for the undercover wannabes.

The Swap Watch may not be brandishing some high-end consumer label, but it can certainly do the trick. This revolutionary entertainment portal on your wrist does more than your average mobile phone. Sure you can stick a SIM card in there, and yes it even comes with a 512 MB upgradable microSD for your multimedia collection. But it can also take pictures, take videos, surf the net, check your email, and hoowow! – tell the time! For some up to date savvy scheduling, just pop out it’s own little stylus, and click away at the interface. Schedule meetings, input contacts, reply to messages, compose emails, or scratch away boredom with the Swap Watch. It’s your own PDA/Mobile Phone/Internet Device/Digicam/Videocam/Alarm Clock rolled around your wrist.

My favorite bit? This device has a number of watch interfaces you can choose from. One moment, it’s a bright blue analog watch, in a flick of a button it turns into a funky digital watch! How cool is that? It acts as an alarm clock too. Now for me, the only thing missing is a built-in calculator. As I am a geek poser, I don’t do math. But rather than bringing around a pocket calculator to solve this dilemma, I’ll live up to being tech savvy by popping out the Swap Watch’s stylus, and doing a bit of manual calculation on its full-color, 1.5-inch TFT screen.
