Sony Ericsson Aino: The First Handset to Feature PlayStation 3 Remote Play Access

Sony Ericsson has established itself as “The Communication Entertainment” brand and Aino highlights Sony’s commitment to bringing the latest communication technology to the market in fun and innovative ways for consumers to enjoy. The Aino is Sony’s latest 3G-enabled handset and will be the first to feature PlayStation 3 Remote Play access – a function previously found on the PlayStation Portable. From the phone, users will be able to access media on their PlayStation 3 anytime and from anywhere in the world through a WiFi connection.

With traditional keypads and touch UI in media mode, users can watch, pause, and record live TV from a huge range of free channels via Aino on the go. Watch movies on the crystal clear 3-inch screen and listen to music in superb quality and with increased freedom with the included stylish Wireless Stereo Headphone MH100 along with the Charging Stand EC100. Aino also introduced Media Home – an application that pulls media content from Media Go on your PC over WiFi to your phone automatically.

Other features include: 8.1 megapixel camera with up to 16x digital zoom, LED flash (3264 x 2448 pixels), DLNA, FM radio with RDS, SanDisk microSD 8GB (up to 16GB), accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate, HSDPA – 3.6 Mbps, GPS with A-GPS support, Bluetooth with A2DP, and 1000 mAh battery. The Aino will ship to selected markets at the end of this year and will come in Obsidian Black and Luminous White colors.
