We have previously reported how the Samsung BD-P4600 wall-mountable Blu-Ray player works. Now, we’re here again to let you witness another Blu-Ray player from Samsung – the BD-P3600. They both continue the trend of stylish and decor-friendly electronics with Samsung’s groundbreaking Touch of Color design and touch sensitive controls. So, what’s their difference? The Samsung BD-P3600 satisfies home theater enthusiasts with superior its sights and sounds, while the BD-P4600 delivers HD entertainment for the whole family in contemporary style.
The 3600 is slightly faster (with a load speed of 40.89 seconds) than the 4600 (with a load speed of 43.35 seconds). The BD-P3600 doesn’t have the BD-P4600’s odd shape. The 3600’s traditional set-top form is just over two inches tall and comes encased in deep black with charcoal gray highlights curving along the other edges.
But aside from those features, the BD-P3600, just like the BD-P4600, comes with WiFi dongle which also means you will be able to access online content through BD-Live. Both can internally decode the latest high-resolution digital multichannel audio soundtracks, including Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, and dts-HD HR/MA.
Other features include:
• 1GB internal flash memory
• 2 USB ports
• Auto adjusting picture
• Video outputs: HDMI, component, composite, and S-Video
• Audio outputs: RCA, coaxials and optical
• Standard CD playback with support for JPEG photos and DivX
