The camera of the PS Eye is said to be designed to work even with low light conditions to deliver smooth and clear videos anytime. A zoom function is also added to adapt to various distances. The audio capture part is a 4 microphone array that cancels out ambient noise perfect for chatting.

Aside from gaming, the PS Eye is also aimed to be used for social purposes such as chatting and video conferencing which it can support for up to 6 people. An added software called EyeCreate allow users to create videos or take pictures. With the included art filters, motion trails etc, expressing creativity wouldn’t be that hard.
