Logitech Harmony 900 Takes Clutter-Free Home Entertainment to a New Level

Harmony has been known for producing some of the best consumer-affordable universal programmable remotes. The Harmony 880 was a milestone, but nothing in comparison to their panel-like remote, the Harmony 1000. Now, Harmony brings us the Harmony 900, the successor of the Harmony One.

The Logitech Harmony 900 Remote takes clutter-free home entertainment to a new level by using radio frequency (RF) technology. RF signals can travel in all directions and through walls and doors [just like a cordless phone], making it easy to enjoy and control your TV, movies, games, and music – even when your home entertainment devices are out of sight.

Based on the award-winning design of the Harmony One, the Harmony 900 remote’s intuitive button layout is divided into four distinct zones [numbers, traditional DVD controls, D-pad with volume and channel up/down, as well as on-screen menu buttons]. And with its sculpted, backlit buttons in a smart layout; you’ll find the right channel even in the dark. The Harmony 900 is also rechargeable and can go a week between charges.

And like all Harmony remotes, the Harmony 900 offers the benefits of one-touch activity-based control and online setup. So no more complicated lists of what to turn on or which button to select. Everyone, even the babysitter can choose what they want to do such as â€œwatch TVâ€ and the Harmony 900 does the rest. The remote will turn on the TV, the cable box, and A/V receiver and any other necessary devices.

The Logitech Harmony 900 is expected to be available in the U.S. and Europe next month for a suggested retail price of $399.99.
