Kingston Data Traveler 300 USB Flash Drive Carries the Highest Storage Capacity

The well-known thumb drive maker, Kingston Technology, has made another breakthrough by offering their latest flash drive with a whopping 256GB storage capacity – the highest capacity available on the market. Actually, Kingston released a 128GB USB drive [Data Traveler 200] last month, but now, they have doubled the capacity with the new Kingston Data Traveler 300.

According to Kirsty Miller, Product Marketing Manager – Consumer, Kingston Technology Europe, the Kingston Data Traveler 300 will allow users to carry huge volumes of data with them everywhere they go. â€œBusiness users and consumers can also protect their data by initializing the Password Traveler software [for Windows-based computers only], allowing them to password protect their data in a privacy zone without the need of administrator rights,â€ he added. Users will also benefit from fast transfer speeds of up to 20MB/sec read and 10MB/sec write.

The Data Traveler 300 is perfect for those in search of huge storage capacity and data protection in a lightweight, but durable design. With a retractable USB connector and built-in lanyard/key-ring hole, it is designed to withstand daily use.

Well, I must say that the features of this tiny tech gadget are pretty impressive, not the price, though. If you want to have the Data Traveler 300, you’ll have to pay $900.
