This year seems to be a 10+mega pixel battleground for compact digital cameras, new models of this feature are constantly being introduced by manufacturers. The ever-increasing number of megapixel count is due to the fact that people seem to attribute pixel numbers to the quality of pictures taken. When in fact, it is the resolving power of the camera from its processing chip which matters most.
The Fujifilm FinePix F200EXR is a mixture of both. It can produce 12 megapixel images with its Super CCD combined with its Real Photo processor that is engineered to get pictures as close to what a human eye can see. The 5x optical zoom of the camera is also wide angle, allowing the user to get wider shots. Dual stabilization is one of its key features – meaning that there is optical and software stabilization to ensure sharp pictures. The F200EXR also has different film simulation modes and can produce HD quality photos. All of these can be viewed on its gorgeous 3-inch high resolution widecreen LCD. The price of this compact digital camera isn’t out yet so you might hold purchasing a new camera until this is released.
Among the digital cameras that we have featured here at Geekie Gadgets, this Fujifilm FinePix F200EXR seem to be the most promising so far.
