Asus Ecleaner for Your Vacuum Cleaning Needs

Cleaning isn’t a skill that gadget geeks seem to have developed. We just smile in excitement as the delivery guy drops us our newly purchased stuffs, remove from the box, and use it already without reading the manual of course. This habit of open and use leads to unseen clutter that go on the floor like staple wires, those little plastic thingies that come usually with chargers, along with dust that normally accumulate. Good thing that we can have already buy vacuum cleaning robots which Asus is about to dive into.

A vacuum cleaner isn’t really Asus’ main product but its subsidiary AGAiT Technology is to release a vacuum cleaner robot named ECleaner. The Ecleaner certainly looks like a Roomba that we have already known since 2002. It has that same circular design with a bumper on the front and buttons on top. But the ECleaner sets itself apart with the 6000 hour disinfecting UV light, fragrance slot, and a remote control that can be docked on top. It also features a photo sensor to detect stairs to avoid falling down. It cleans the room with an algorithm and some pre-programmed moves to cover the entire work area . Whenever the ECleaner is done with its task or is about to run out of batteries, it automatically goes back to the base station to fully charge. It certainly is a time saver to have something that cleans your floor when you’re away at work.
