Welcoming another first from Yamaha is the MusicCAST. It boasts of a two-room sytem that enables the other room listen to what you are listening without being accused of eavesdropping.

With a music server and a wireless tabletop music player, you can now stream music from the MCX-2000 music server to the wireless tabletop music player and any compatible Windows PCs.

Isn’t that amazing? Goodbye loud speakers and say hello to this organized fashion of sharing good music.

The Yamaha MusicCAST is Wi-Fi capable and could be connected to wired Ethernet ports. In order to maximize this new way of listening, it is highly recommended that you have a broadband internet connection.

Armed with a built-in 160GB hard drive, it can store as much as 2,000 hours of feel good music at 160 kbps or in other words it could play up to 200 hours of uncompressed CD quality audio format!
