Xiao Digital camera
The Tommy employee RIE Maesda displays a new digital camera with built in printer, called ‘Xiao TIP-521′. The feature of this digital camera is that it has a in built zink printer . The Zink enabled digital camera uses the Zink Zero ink printing technology for printing .
This device Xiao TIP-521 has all the softwares which allows the user to have access to a number of entertaining printing option such as templates and borders. The Xiao is equipped with a 5 megapixel CMOS sensor, a thermal printer with a in-house paper tray to contain approximately 20 photo papers of 2 x 3 inch, a 4x digital zoom, 2.48 inch LCD screen and supports SD/SDHC memory slots.
The Xiao thermal liner printer comes with a resolution of 313dpi to have a flawlessly print images within one minute. This device weighs 294 grams and mesures 149.5 x 74.5 x 25mm. It can also store images via a 16Mb onboard memory. The Xiao TIP-521 carries a price tag of $320 and is slated to reach the Japanese amrket by 28th of November where as in US it is expected to be launched around April or May 2009
