They call her Repliee Q1Expo. Japanese scientists have unveiled the human-like robot.
Designed with human-appearance in mind, Repliee Q1Expo is equipped with flexible silicone for skin, and sensors and motors to allow her to turn and react in a human-like manner. She seems to be breathing and capable of fluttering her eyelids. She is able to move her hands like a human do.
For now, Repliee Q1Expo, can only sit and powered by a nearby air compressor.
“Repliee Q1Expo can interact with people. It can respond to people touching it. It’s very satisfying, although we obviously have a long way to go yet.”

when these scientists get one working, without the constent need for a remote, i’ll be impressed. until then, their going to talk about it. plan for a future, where their little girls, are outside and talking. i look forward to the point when they get them, dancing. singing is cool, dancing to the music playing, with timing, is cooler. for all of you out there working on a robot, keep working. one day, your robot, will be standing, in the place of a current show host.
